A home for our festivals, far from home
Sanatani Essex UK is a volunteer-run Hindu community based in Basildon, Essex. We organise festivals and pujas throughout the year so that families here can celebrate the way we grew up celebrating — with prayer, music, food and togetherness.
Our aim is simple: to celebrate, preserve and share the culture and traditions of Sanatan Dharma. Children learn the rituals and stories, elders find a familiar warmth, and neighbours of every background are welcome to join in.
Everything we do is made possible by volunteers, local sponsors and the generosity of our community.
